Swim Coach
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of swimming techniques and demonstrate a strong commitment to being a positive role model. They will work to foster a supportive community where swimmers of all ages and skill levels can thrive. The coach will be dedicated to cultivating an environment that embodies motivation, dedication, discipline, perseverance, creativity, kindness, leadership, and strength of character.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct swim practices and programs, focusing on technique, endurance, and overall fitness.
- Monitor swimmer progress and provide feedback and encouragement.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and team-oriented atmosphere.
- Ensure swimmer safety during practices and events.
- Plan and execute events and community builders.
- Assist in the development of new curriculum and programs.
- Assist with business development.
- Assist in the development of new tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Must possess the qualities of the environment we are trying to foster.
- Strong knowledge of swim techniques.
- Excellent communication, motivational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
- Must be an excellent role model.
- Ability to energize a group of people and create an experience.
- Willing to learn and grow.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Swim coaching or instruction certification.
- Experience swimming in competitive swimming.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Training (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience running experience based athletic classes.
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
